David Barsocchini

Resident of Santa Clara
David L Barsocchini of Santa Clara, CA passed away on January 27th, 2014 in Santa Clara, CA. David was born in San Mateo, CA to Leo and Jeanne Barsocchini on March 27,1947. He graduated from San Carlos High School and The College of San Mateo. After graduation he worked as a Reserve Police Officer in the Redwood City police department. He then worked for many years in sales and customer service in San Jose, Arizona, and Colorado.
David was an avid SF 49er and SF Giants fan. Seeing his Giants win the World Series twice was a highlight for him. He loved everything Disney, and Disneyland was truly the happiest place on earth for him. Reading was a favorite pastime, and US History was a favorite subject!
David is preceded in death by his father Leo Barsocchini and his brother James Barsocchini.
He survived by his children Mark Barsocchini of Colorado Springs CO, Jennifer Benner of Longmont CO, and Daniel Barsocchini of Longmont CO. He is also survived by his sisters, Alice Barsocchini of Wetumpka AL, Susan Luna of El Granada, CA, his mother, Jeanne Barsocchini of Woodside, CA. as well as 7 grandchildren and his beloved dog, Angel.
Plans for a memorial service are pending. Donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association or the San Francisco Junior Giants.
