Aurora Reyes Navarro
Resident of San Jose
Aurora Reyes Navarro, beloved daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend passed away from heart disease on November 7, 2010 at the age of 74 at Stanford Medical Center in Stanford, CA, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born in Pomona, CA to Jesus and Guadalupe Medina and has been a resident of San Jose for the past 62 years.
Aurora is survived by her loving husband, Frank Navarro, her cherished children Raul Gonzales, Jr. of Las Vegas, NV, Jesse and Maryann Gonzales of Los Banos, CA, Roxanne and Joe Bejarano of San Jose and stepdaughters Juanita Medina (Will) and Marianne Navarro (Shannon) of San Jose.
She was a loving Nana to 14 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Aurora is also survived by brothers Philip Medina (Lucy) and William Medina (Linda); sister Patricia Fishburn (Gary) all of San Jose, and sister Rebecca Emmerling (William) of Brentwood, CA. Her numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews will always treasure the beautiful memories they have of their Nana, Aunt Dora and Nina.
Her entire family feels blessed to have had her in their lives and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Family and friends are invited to a rosary service on Monday, Nov. 15, 2010 at 7:00 pm at Oak Hill Funeral Home, Chapel of the Oaks, 300 Curtner Ave., San Jose. Funeral mass will be Nov. 16, 2010 at 10:00 am Sacred Heart Church, 325 Willow Street, San Jose.
