Jean Battle
Resident of Santa Clara
Passed away peacefully on October 11, 2010 at the age of 87. She is survived by her son Randy Battle, her daughter and son in law, Nancy and Rick Mlakar. She was the proud grandmother of Beth and Katie Mlakar. A loving aunt and friend to many. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband John Battle and her sister Joann Martin.
"Jeanne" will be remembered for her great courage, her faith and trust in her Heavenly Father and her loving kindness. She chose to see the best in everyone.
In her honor a memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 17, 2010 at 4:30pm in the Chapel of Roses, Oak Hill Funeral Home, San Jose CA. A special thanks to the staff and her friends at Pacific Gardens Assisted Living for their loving care and support. Donations may be sent in her honor to Pacific Gardens "Jeanne Battle Employee Christmas Fund", Vitas Hospice or the charity of your choice.

To the Battle family, sorry for your loss, may GOD give you his LOVE, PEACE, and STRENGTH in this time of sorrow. She is with JESUS now and he is showing her all that she has been given just as GOD promissed her and all that believe in him. We are on borrowed time to our familys here on earth, and when GOD says it's time to be with him in HEAVEN we have to go, and it's hard leaving our familys behind but all that know GOD know our love one is in a better place and will live for eternity with JESUS, and she will have a brand new body that will never feel pain again. When GOD gives her a job down here on earth i'm sure she will check in on her family. May she R.I.P <3

I will always remember how Jeannie called me "Miss Baskin Robbins" and our frequent trips there when she would come visit us in Spokane. We love you and you will be missed. It is an honor to have you as an angel watching over us in heaven now. We love you Jeannie.
