Emilio Mendoza, Sr.
Resident of San Jose.
Age 88. Born 07/31/22, entered eternal life 11/30/10.
He is survived by his beloved wife Gloria, children Emilio Jr., Christian, Michael, Elizabeth, John, Mary. Grandchildren Gabe, Anna, Mattie, & Sal. Siblings Carmen Robles,Ruth Reyes, Augustine Mendoza, Jessie Gaeta.
Emilio was born in Mexico, raised in San Fernando Ca. & spent the past 70 yrs in San Jose. A WWII vet, 376th Paratrooper, 1942. He is the owner of Mendoza Realty & Tax Services. He was a committed father & husband, an avid learner, a great listener & had a wonderful smile. He was deeply loved & will be greatly missed by his family & friends.
Visitation starting at 3:00 pm, Thursday, Dec. 9 with a Vigil service commencing at 7pm at Lima Family Erickson Mortuary at 710 Willow Street in San Jose. Mass will be held at St. Leo Church, San Jose, on Dec 10 at 10am with burial to follow at Oak Hill Memorial Park.
Donations may be made in his honor to the Palo Alto Veterans Hospital.

I remember Emilio well, but mostly as "boss". That's what my Mom Lydia always called him for all the 20 plus years she worked with him every Tax season. He was really funny and nice and would always tell me to listen to my parents, and ask me if I had a job yet. I was like 10 years old!. He and my Mom were 1 year apart in age and got along great, and I'm glad they both had long productive lives, and are both in a much better place.
