Kathryn Whincup Obituary
Resident of Sunnyvale
At the age of 90 years, Kathryn J. Whincup was called home by the Lord on October 30, 2010. Born in Goldsboro, NC, Kathryn moved to Rochester, NY at an early age. It was there that she met her late husband, Robert, who passed away in 2006 after 68 years of marriage. Kathryn is survived by her 4 children, Gail Eaves, Maureen DeSimone, Robert S. Whincup, Jr., Cheryl Duran; 13 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, 12 great-great-grandchildren.
Kathryn has been a Sunnyvale resident since 1954 and has contributed to community throughout the years, supporting the local schools and sports programs. Her life reflected her love of her family, children and her community.
An open service celebrating Kathryn's life will be held on Saturday, November 20th at 12:00p.m. at the First United Methodist Church of Sunnyvale, 535 Old San Francisco Road, Sunnyvale, California, 94086.

Kayla, Cynthia and I are filled with great sadness on hearing of the passing of Great-Grandma Kay. May you find Tranquility in knowing that family and friends share with your family in the loss of Kay. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and the entire Whincup family.
