Carol and family,
I have been asking around the Almaden neighborhood for your address to send you a note. Since I still don't have the info, I thought to send you a note this way.
I am deeply sorry for your loss. Doug was such a young man to be taken early. I hope you find peace with many happy memories. I know that will take time, however. If you need to reach out, I am here. I do know what you are going through. Joe passed away on July 17, only 56 yrs old. He battled kidney cancer for 4 months. I know he is at peace with God, but I miss him so terribly much.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
Fondly,
Patti Donovan

I love you Doug, Carol, Shelly, Curt and Tyler. I do not have the words to describe how I feel. Christmas time dinners with uncle Dough were always very special for me and a mini family reunion. I loved the love in the room, the warm block hugs... I'm sad and am missing the healing that went on at the funeral.

I'm so glad Doug came by the office last month. He was in such good spirits as he made his way around the office catching up with everyone and that's how I will remember him... laughing, wearing a pair of shorts, sporting a big smile, and truly happy. Blessings to all.

Carol,
Doug was the most favorite of all the uncles. He was truly the neatest. After my father (Delbert) passed, Doug was always there for us kids.
Swift journey, Del and Val will take good care of him. We send all our love.
