Harry Alan (Al) Skovmand

Resident of San Jose

June 21, 1921-Nov. 10, 2010

At rest with the Lord. Predeceased by wife, Patricia of 53 years. Survived by sons, Mark (Linda) and Tim (Pam).Grandchildren Kim (Mike) Bishop, Rob (Kelsey) Skovmand, Tracy (Greg) Holsclaw, Jon Skovmand and April Skovmand and 5 Great grandchildren. Pre-deceased by brother Wally Shaw survived by twin brother Kenneth (Jeanine) Skovmand of Ripon CA.

Al was a WWII vet in the Pacific and worked on radar, in the Army signal corps. Al worked for 27 years at IBM and Condor during retirement.

Al was best known for his servant's heart. He sang with the church choir and Royal Bards, did carpentry and stage lighting at First Baptist Church. At Los Gatos Christian Church, Al's service included benevolence, stage lighting, computer repair, communion services, and head usher responsibilities.

Visitation held at Darling Fischer Chapel of the Hills 615 N. Santa Cruz Ave. Los Gatos, CA on Nov. 18th from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Memorial Service will be held on Nov. 20th at 10:00 am at Venture Christian Church 16845 Hicks Road, Los Gatos, CA

May the Lord comfort each of you family members.
I remember Alan as one of the "gang" that Loren loved to be with. So many good memories of weddings, anniversaries , family times together. Save me a seat Alan, I will all be joining you at the "marriage supper" some day! Etta Mae KIbby
