Born in Lewes Sussex, England. Beloved Mother, wife, sister, aunt, grandmother and friend. The best mother, ever. Resident of San Jose, Ca for forty years. Came to the United States in 1954. Kept and maintained her British citizenship (England forever). Loved America and California. Survived by her husband, Bill, sons Wayne and Gary, granddaughter Jennifer. brother Dennis Pender, niece Kim Williams and many family members in England. Lived thru the Blitz in London in WWII. Friend to all " most caring person you would ever be lucky to meet". You will be missed every day forever. Lover of life and all that is good. Her home always open to stray animals that needed care and shelter.
Please come to 21110 Serene Way, San Jose 95120, Saturday, Sept. 18th from noon until 7:00 pm for a remembrance of a wunderful life well lived. ...DARLING FISCHER CHAPEL OF THE HILLS.

We all remember Jean well.
A lovely bubbly person who made immediate friends with my mum and dad on our emigration from London to to Laurel Avenue, Connecticut way back in 1967. Mum is very sad at this news but remembers her dearly for a long lasting friendship across the water.

Jean was sometimes a mother - a friend - a child. She was there for me when I needed her and enjoyed life to the fullest. I will miss her!!
