Peter Foitzik Obituary

Peter Foitzik

Resident of Redwood City

Aug. 17, 1943-Dec. 4, 2010

Peter Foitzik passed away suddenly Dec. 4, due to a heart attack. He was born in Giessen, Germany and came to the United States in 1977, when he married Kathy De Vos in 1979. Peter was an avid fisherman, loved the 49'ers and the Giants. Most of all he loved his family and his friends. He was the rock of the family.

He is survived by his wife, Kathy Foitzik; son, Sascha Foitzik; daughter, Darla De Vos-Rodriguez; and son-in-law, Darren Rodriguez; also his father, Kurt Fieler.

The family is not having a service, due to Peter's request; so in lieu of flowers his favorite donations would be to the Veterans or the SPCA.

Peter was a joy, every day, every time, every occasion. He was a devoted husband and father and friend. I feel privileged to have known him as a friend and as his Chiropractor. He brought happiness every where he went. To Kathy and family...my love to all of you, with deepest sympathy and hope that time is gentle with you.
