Violet Kranich Obituary

Violet Kranich

Resident of San Carlos

Loving mother, grandmother, aunt and sister passed away peacefully at the age of 88 on September 12, 2010. Violet was born to John and Polly Urban on October 1, 1921 in Chicago, Illinois.

Violet met the love of her life Arthur at a USO dance and married on June 8, 1946 in Chicago. Violet and Arthur moved from Chicago and found their bliss by building a home in San Carlos in 1950 in which they raised a family and shared 52 years of marriage. A devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, bowler, master of the pineapple upside down cake, animal lover and devoted softball fan of Kayla. Violet was known for her sweet and gentle nature and love of a good joke often provided by her brother John, her Arthur, family members and friends.

Violet was preceded in death by her husband Arthur Kranich and brother John Urban. Violet is survived by children and spouses Leslie and David Fitzgerald; Audrey and Larry Boone; sister Bee Miller; grandchildren Scott Fitzgerald and Bryan Fitzgerald and his bride Michele; and great-grand daughter Kayla.

In keeping with Violet's wishes no services will occur but her wish for you is to celebrate life by, "remembering me through our memories and keeping me in your heart. Through love and warming retrospect, we shall truly never part." Crippen & Flynn

To the Kranich family, sorry for your loss, and may GOD give you his LOVE, PEACE, and STRENGTH in this time of sorrow. It sounds like she loved life, loved laughing and enjoyed people she was around. She will always be in your hearts <3 and the way to keep her memory alive is as she has requested bye telling her storys, and the story's she told her family. The other way is by the foods she loved to make and was famous for or the foods she liked to eat. You just take it one day at a time and as the days go bye it will get easier to handle your sorrow. May she R.I.P <3
