Ann McCracken

Resident of Redwood City

Aug. 10, 1936-Sept.13, 2010

73, born Laurie Ann Douglas passed away after a decade of progressive Alzheimer's disease. Ann was born is Paso Robles, Ca. and moved to Redwood City after her father's death and went to Sequoia High School her senior year. In 1957 she met and married her husband Bill McCracken when he left the Navy. She raised three children and did volunteer work at the schools. She volunteered at San Carlos High School working in The English and Reading Department. Later after her children were grown she volunteered at the Redwood City Library and their Project Read Program until Her Alzheimer's disease took over.

She is survived by her husband Bill McCracken, two sons Bob and John, her daughter Laurie McCracken, Ten Grandchildren and three Great grandchildren. Ann's Memorial Service will be held at The Neptune Society in Belmont at 1645 El Camino Real, Belmont, CA.
