Donald Wolfe Obituary
Aug. 9, 1933 - June 18, 2013
Former Resident of Saratoga
Donald L. Wolfe passed away on Tuesday after a valiant battle with cancer. He touched many lives with his leadership, wit and commitment to public service.
Don was born in Staten Island, NY. He is survived by his devoted daughter and son-in-law, Mary and John Kubiatowicz, and adored grandson, Dylan Kubiatowicz of Pleasant Hill. He is also survived by his brothers Dr. William Wolfe and wife Rose of Vermont, and Douglas Wolfe and wife Peggy of Florida and North Carolina; loving partner Natalie Keating, numerous nephews, nieces and Godchildren. Don was predeceased by his twin brother John Wolfe of Albany, NY.
Don's career in Real Estate and later with the US Chamber of Commerce took his family from New York to Freeport, Grand Bahama Island, Atlanta, GA and Hollywood, FL before settling in San Jose 35 years ago. His most recent work as Executive Director of Citizens Against Lawsuit Abuse (CALA) included a private meeting at the White House with President GW Bush.
Don's Public Service was exemplary. Upon moving to Saratoga he served on the City Council and as Mayor. He was a member of West Valley-Mission Community College Board of Trustees, and Goodwill of Silicon Valley Board of Directors. For years he co-hosted Issues Today a community television program, and was an active member of The Conservative Forum.
Friends and family are invited to a funeral service on Friday, June 21, 2013 at 10:30am at Christ the King Church at 199 Brandon Road in Pleasant Hill. Donations in Don's memory may be made to the charity of your choice.

Don was a wonderful help to many in over community and he will be remembered. He would always be there to talk and give a helping hand. I am grateful to have known him.
