Frank passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on September 10, 2013 at age 84.
Frank was born in St. Louis, Missouri and raised in Canastota, New York by his parents, Nunzio and Gaetana Crimi. He graduated in 1951 from Ohio University with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. He then served in the U.S. Army for four years and fought in the Korean War, earning a Purple Heart and a Bronze Star with Valor. After the war, Frank went on to a prominent 35-year career with General Electric, working in GE's defense (Schenectady, NY) and commercial (San Jose, CA) nuclear divisions. He later worked at Waste Chem and Lockheed.
A devoted husband and father, Frank raised a family that flourished from his love and patient guidance. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Anna; children Paul (Mary), Lisa (Peter), Stephen (Sue), Ralph (Lisa) and Francis. He is survived by his sister, Rose (Canastota, NY) and is predeceased by his sister, Connie. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Frank's name to Hospice of the Valley, San Jose.
