Harry "Uddy" Leppo, a native of Boston, MA, age 93, passed away peacefully in his sleep, February 26, 2013, at Stanford Hospital. He was the 4th of 10 children born to William and Anne Leppo. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Loretta, his five children Jan (Don) Marshall, Peter (Peggy) Leppo, Robyn (Randy) Rajkovich, Amy (Jaime) Paniagua, and Randy Leppo, his many grandchildren and step-grandchildren, Lesley, Jordan, Adam, Jeffrey, Kelley, John, Eric, Danny, Rachel, Tommy, Kristen, Daniel, Courtney, Shelby, Madeline, Samantha, Peter, MaryKate, Hannah, Max, Chelsea and Dylan, and a great-grandson, Sam, as well as many nieces and nephews. After attending college, he served in the United States Coast Guard during World War II, as a Boatswain's Mate, Second Class, patrolling the East Coast for German submarines. After the war, he met and married the love-of-his-life, Loretta Castaline, on January 12, 1950. They moved to California in 1964 where he started a successful land development business. He and Loretta travelled the world and loved entertaining friends at their Los Altos Hills home. His deep passion and love for golf cemented many lifelong friendships and he could always be found at Sharon Heights Golf and Country Club, be it golfing, playing cards, or dominoes with his "Pals." Graveside services will be held at Alta Mesa Memorial Park, 695 Arastradero Road, Palo Alto, on Friday, March 1, 2013, at 1:30 pm, followed by a Celebration of Harry's Life at Sharon Heights Golf and Country Club, 2900 Sand Hill Road, Menlo Park, at 4:00 pm. All are welcome to attend. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to either Ronald McDonald House at Stanford, 520 Sand Hill Road, Palo Alto, CA 94304 or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

I was a caddy at Sharon Hieghts when I was 16 harry was my favorite!! He alway asked for Scotty!! (Me) I would loop for him and Brodie (John) and make about $75.00 and $10 more after I put the beers or cigars in the car.
Great memories of 1976. Harry was a great friend.
