Jacquelyn Clark Obituary

Jacquelyn S. Clark
Oct. 3, 1931-Oct. 3, 2013
Resident of Mountain View
Jacquelyn Lee Clark of Mountain View passed away Tuesday from complications after heart surgery. Jackie was born in Hartford, Connecticut. She was one of four children born to A. Howard and Lillian Spargo. She is survived by her children Lynn Ann Clark, Gregory H. Clark, and Steven J. Clark; her grandchildren Julian Thomas, Clifton Thomas, Kevin Clark, and Kylie Clark; her sister Susanne Ludorf; and her nieces and nephews.
Jackie attended Upper Darby High School in Drexel Hill, PA, where she met Julian, the love of her life. They were married for 60 years and remained high-school sweethearts.
Jackie was a mom, homemaker, and volunteer. She was fulfilled by and proud of her career choice. Her home was filled with unconditional love and laughter. One of the many ways she showed her love was through her gourmet cooking.
She gave countless hours volunteering at the Allied Arts Guild Restaurant, run by the Palo Alto Auxiliary to the Stanford Children's Hospital. She put her considerable talents to work serving as president in 1988. She also volunteered for the Children's Home Society. She was an active member of a women's philanthropic education organization (PEO) and was past president of Chapter H.E.
Throughout her life, Jackie found beauty in all things and held them in her heart to share with others. She brightened the spirits and touched the hearts of all who met her.
A memorial service will be held at St. Simon Church in Los Altos at 1 p.m. Monday, June 17, 2013.

I was so sorry to hear about Jackie today. My heart goes out to all of you. She was a wonderful person and a great listener. She helped me a lot as I am going through so many issues with my husband.
I will truly miss her and her great sence of humor.
Please know that she will be in my heart always!
