April 16, 1929 - June 15, 2013
Resident of Mountain View
Karl Ruehl passed away June 15, 10:30pm at the age of 84. He was born in Holzburg, Germany and came to the Bay Area in 1954. He joined the Sunnyvale SDA church in 1958. He enjoyed traveling, swimming, gardening, growing avocados, woodworking and worked long hours as a self-employed carpenter remodeling many beautiful homes in the Mountain View area. He is survived by his wife Sigrid of 48 years, his daughter Claudia and son Olaf. A Funeral Service will be held on 6/21/13 at 11:30am at Willow Glen Funeral Home with interment to follow at Cedar Lawn Cemetery.

I remember the long hours Karl put in as he used his artistry to make cabinets in the classrooms at Miramonte. He worked around our schedules and was eager to make them perfect for us.
My sympathy to you Olaf, my student, an of course to Sigrid and Claudia as well.
