Mary Ivanovich Plomteaux
Resident of San Jose
Mary Plomteaux, devoted mother and grandmother, passed away on July 18, 2013 at the age of 90. She was born in Watsonville, CA and was preceded in death by her loving husband, John Plomteaux, her parents Steven and Nellie Ivanovich from Croatia and sister Katherine Secondo. Survived by her 3 daughters, Charlene Mendez (Jerry), Marsha Theis (Dave), Diane Struthers (Duncan) and son John Plomteaux Jr, (Mary) and her brother-in-law Mateo Secondo. She was a loving grandmother to 12 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Mary was a Eucharistic minister at Queen of Apostles Church and enjoyed her family, traveling, good friends, square dancing and golf. She was a caring and kind friend to many and will be missed by all who knew her. Friends and family are invited to an 11 AM Celebration of Life mass on July 29, 2013 at Queen of Apostles Catholic Church 4911 Moorpark Ave San Jose. Memorial donations may be made to Vitas Hospice 670 N McCarthy Blvd Suite 220 Milpitas, CA 95035 or Alzheimer's Association, 1060 La Avenida, Mountain View, CA 94043
