Patricia Romano Obituary

Patricia Romano
October 9, 1947-June 21, 2013
Redwood City
Pat Romano, age 65, died peacefully at her daughter's home in Redwood Shores on June 21, 2013 after a long fight with cancer. Pat was born October 9, 1947, in San Francisco, CA, the daughter of Jasper S. Romano and Herminia Rendueles.
Pat is the second of nine children. Her siblings are Tina Rosemann, Josie Counce, Jay Romano, Tony Romano, Annie Romano, June Gomez, Steve DiMemmo and Cindy Stein.
Pat is survived by her three children Cindy Jepsen, Chad Vignola and Crystal Vignola. In addition, her beautiful grandchildren, Alyssa, Giovanni, Gianna, Cianna and her immediate family Nina Romano, Guy English, Dina Shacknai, Nancy Romano, Rocio Vignola, Mike Kirby, and Byron Fleck.
There is nothing like a mother's love. Pat had an unforgettable personality, a beautiful soul and left a lasting memory with all those blessed to have known her. She had an amazing outlook on life and always brought a smile and positive attitude to every situation. She loved life, family, friends and God. Our mother taught us to do the same. She raised us to be strong, just as she was, and to never give up.
This amazing woman was notorious for driving around in her Mercedes, dancing the night away, wearing her high heels and leopard print outfits and rockin' her red lipstick. These are the memories we will cherish and hold dear in our hearts.
We love you Mom, Nana, Pat. Don't worry because we will see you again one day. Rest in peace, our mother, our friend, our beautiful angel. We know you are watching over us everyday. We will miss you.
Visitation will be Friday, June 28th, at 4:00pm, followed by a Vigil Service at 7:00pm at Crippen & Flynn Woodside Chapel, 400 Woodside Rd., Redwood City, Ca. Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, 10:00am at St. Charles Church, 880 Tamarack Ave., San Carlos.

So sorry for your loss. Pat was "Nana" to our granddaughters and we always enjoyed spending time with her when we visited. She was a charming person, so full of life and fun. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Mom I miss you more than you will ever know. Thank you for giving me your strength during this difficult time. I think about you everyday. I want you here with me but that would be selfish since you were suffering. I take it you are healthily, dancing and doing all the other things you love to do. Mom I love you so much. I talk to you everyday. I know you are with all of us.

I'm so sorry for your loss, your Mom and I go way back to McKinley grammar school, sequoia, and we worked together in maybe 1969-1972, not sure on the dates, anyway , your Mom always kept us all laughing... And we all loved her, she was always a Lady with Class....I only meet her oldest daughter when you were very young.... When I left work she was expecting one of you, I moved away to the Sierra mtn area.... Pat was a lot of fun, she was a Mom first, she was full of life and love.... She and I had some great fun when we worked at Jerrold Electronics in Redwood City.....well Patricia's children and Family, please rejoice that you all got to know the extraordinary Woman, I know I will ..........I hope I will see her also some day when we meet our Saviour.......
