Alice Collins Obituary
Resident of Sunnyvale, Santa Cruz and Los Altos
Alice Collins passed October 5, 2010, 15 days shy of her 100th birthday.
Alice was born in Aurora, Nebraska and attended school through college in Wyoming while living in Guernsey, Wyoming
She taught K-8 in a country school and when she married Fay Collins had to elope to Nebraska because the law was, married women could not teach school. She was widowed in 1985 and leaves 2 sons, Richard and Gary, 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
A private family dinner was held in her memory Sunday Oct. 10, 2010.
