To the Burkhardt Family,

You have my condolences on Barbara's passing. We had a relationship that began 40 years ago at Peninsula Hospital. She always took good care of me and all of her patients. She was a super nurse.
I also had the privilege of caring for her. She was also a super patient-never complaining and always following directions.
I know that you have loving memories to help you remember all her goodness.

My heart goes out to all of you, in your time of sorrow. I knew Barbara for many years, as we both worked at Peninsula Hospital. She was a beautiful woman.

Words alone cannot describe the love and grief we feel, sometimes both together. We will always love and remember you because you are such a large part of our lives. We see you and your amazing life reflected in your children. I love you mom.

Words seem inadequate to express the sadness I feel. One of God's many gifts - a beautiful woman. We were all blessed to know and love her. May the peace which comes from the memories of love shared, comfort you now and in the days ahead. You are all in my prayers.
