Carl Reid Scott

Resident of Palo Alto

Passed away on October 25, 2010 of ALS. Born in Roseville, CA on September 25, 1919, Reid was the son of Alice White and Carl Reid Scott and brother of Donald Morehead. Raised in San Mateo and Menlo Park, Reid attended San Jose State and UC Berkeley and graduated Sequoia HS where he met his beloved wife of 68 years, Catherine Baggenstos. Reid was a USMC veteran, seeing action in the Pacific in WWII. Pre-deceased by his wife Catherine, he is survived by four children, Joan Arioto, Chris Scott, Stephen Scott, Julie Tufts and five grandchildren. Donations may be made to The League to Save Lake Tahoe. Services Friday 10/29, 10 am; St Thomas Aquinas church, Palo Alto. www.rollerhapgoodtinney.com.
