Carl Wind Obituary

Carl D.Wind

Resident of San Bruno

Carl was born August 6, 1909 in Los Angeles, Ca. and died October 25, 2010 in Burlingame, Ca. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 60 years Isabel (Luque) Wind. Carl worked as a Dental Technician for 36 years in San Francisco. He loved boating, fishing and water skiing in his younger years, square dancing and line dancing in his retirement years. He leaves behind many friends and dance partners.

Carl is survived by his son Carl P. Wind and wife Barbara (Coaker) Wind as well as 5 grandchildren, Colleen Wind of So. San Francisco, Kristen Poage (Andy) of San Bruno, Carl Wind Jr. and wife Nicole of San Bruno, John Wind and wife Christina of Hayward and Michelle Cuadra (Robert) of Goodyear Az. Carl is also survived by 7 great grandchildren, Andrew Poage, Kendall Wind, Lucian Wind, Jade Wind, Ethan Wind, Anthony Cuadra, and Christopher Cuadra.

A memorial service will be held on Monday Nov. 1st 11:00am at Olivet Memorial Park, 1601 Hillside Blvd. Colma, Ca. 650 755-0322.

Grampa Wind will be missed by all that knew him....myself for 50 years....and have many fun memories over that time. His love of dancing and music....and just "horsing around" will never be forgotten.
