Dominic passed away unexpectedly Oct. 19th. A graduate of Westmont High, and SJSU. He will be loved and missed by many. We will remember him with a big smile and ready for anything.
Memorial Service Tue. October 26th 3 - 5pm at the Neptune Society, San Jose, CA 408 287 8700. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Dominic's name to N.A.M.I.

I remember going to San Francisco with Dominic to see the Academy of Hawaiian Arts perform. I picked up some Hawaiian poke (raw fish salad) from a food booth. The average person who never had it before might be hesitant to try something like that. Not Dominic. Without question or hesitation, he partook and enjoyed the food. That's how Dominic was, not just toward food, but toward life in general. It was a fearless quality that he had.

I just stumbled on this page and I'm in utter shock. We had so much fun just being young and dumb and having fun! I was looking you up to see try and meet up again and now Mr heart is completely deflated. Everything was so easy and simple with you. We spent so many good times off and in through the years, usually dancing our sneaking up to your room and talking and having fun. You were one of a kind. Good bless your family. When I think of something funny it saddens me that Dominic is no longer around to share the laughs with me. I am very sad to just hear today about Dominic's passing. Dominic was a very smart, giving person with a lot of friends, he was a great athlete we played basketball together at Westmont. He always had a great attitude and smile. I don't believe I ever saw Dominic in a bad mood or get mad the whole time I knew him. It must be very difficult for his family to deal with this challenge I pray that they can move forward through these tough times. I am a better man because of meeting and being friends with such a great person like Dominic.

Our friendship continued for many years. Though time passed, we always reconnected with a smile, love and happiness. I met Dom so long ago - CRUISING on EL CAMINO! We dated on and off for many years - i lost touch but we always found each other again in random places - day parties in SF- backflip and Jelly's! Dominic was a ray of light in my life - always positive and supportive! Affectionate and funny!! We shared so many moments. Dominic and I played on the same tee-ball team at Campbell Little League, at the age of seven. That year, we won the championship and played on the all-star team. Starting in high school we became close friends and remained so ever since. I last saw him in February of this year, when he visited Las Vegas. I last talked to him in August.
Dominic is someone who I always admired and aspired to emulate, while also doing my best to reciprocate his special qualities with my own, and thereby add value to his life. In other words, by joining forces, I wanted to help increase the size of the pie for both of us.
Dominic's mass appeal was an enigma to me, although I now have a better understanding why. His heart welcomed everybody. His gift was a special blend of both emotional intelligence and spiritual intelligence, not to mention an IQ to go with it. His life journey encompassed many roles, including athlete, scholar, bachelor, friend, dancer, clown, comedian, counselor, and healer.
Dominic is one-of-a-kind. There is no thing or person in the physical world that will ever replace him. His legacy includes the lives of everyone who remembers him dearly.
Collectively, we must now commemorate him by fulfilling our respective callings in life, and adding value to our world and the lives of people around us. In other words, we must each strive to realize our full potential in life. Dominic loved each one of us and wouldn't want it any other way. He wants us to achieve our dreams.

I knew Dominic in junior high. He was one of the cutest boys in school while I was not much to look at. But Dominic was always nice to me. Genuinely nice.
