To the Bowling family, sorry for your loss, may GOD give you his PEACE, LOVE, and STRENGTH in this time of sorrow. She was doing GOD'S work here on earth, by working in the red cross and going to help other people who were in need of supply's, food, and just someone to talk to and listen to there fears of what has happened in there life. We all are given a gift and her's was to help people who needed a smile, a ear, a hug, and a heart <3 to help them get through what has happened, and it sounds like she did it with out ?, she got up and left. I don't know if she was a believer of GOD but if she was or wasn't he worked through her to help people in time of need of GOD. May she R.I.P <3

I knew Liz from San Jose State University, in the history program. She was always talking about her work with the Red Cross among many of her other interests and came to Phi Alpha Theta meetings when she could. Her energy and approach to life was always positive and she will be sorely missed. Karen Clementi, SJSU, History Dept.

I was a volunteer at American Red Cross in the local chapter with Liz Bowling. There were three Liz's there at that time, so she was known as Liz B, a nickname she found amusing. I remember that she had stepped forward to lead and establish the task of providing care and housing for pets who beome displaced along with their owners during a disaster. Her thoughtfulness, compassion and energy will be greatly missed.

I volunteered with Liz at the Red Cross. She was such a hoot to work with! Liz was serious about her work in helping others, but she always had a smile and a joke and a great attitude. I will always remember her for that.

She was quite a sister, She thought me to play baseball, and to bat left handed because you were 2 steps closer to first base. That made me a switch hitter but my power was always left handed. -Tom Bowling
