Kim Cramblet

Oh dear! I was just looking for my fathers obituary and instead got my brothers 2095 obituary where I found a lovely note from Ester. She was the link to my Great Uncle Sam Cramblet. Uncle Sam who did our family tree. She probably had the story of how he and my grandfather Edwin Sennet Cramblet had walked from Ohio to the west coast! I am so sorry I didn´t check my brother, Robert Allen Cramblet´s obituary post publishing. I doubt Esters kin will do so either. She sounds like someone I would have loved and adored for all that she did with her time here. We were lacking relatives in my fathers side.My email is [email protected]. This is November 29th 2022 and I am 66 years old.

There are so many wonderful memories of Esther and our three HLAA walkathons that I don't know where to begin. I am grateful that I got to know her through our committee adventures, hard work and laughter. Her dedication to Looping was amazing, but most of all, Esther was amazing. I will miss her. I have such good memories of you Esther. Especially our last visit to your place in 2006, where we shared lunch and you were able to show me thousands of hours you spent tracing our family tree. You discovered so many things that our family would never have known and I am forever grateful. I hope to continue your work. Love, Your Great Niece, Kathryn

Esther was friendly and helpful to everyone, including those she had just met. The first time I met her, she was enthusiastic and helpful about my efforts on a newsletter. Her tips and suggestions made my work so much easier. Obviously she left happiness wherever she went. My sympathy goes out to her family and friends. Her lovely spirit will remain with us all.
