Fred M. Baldra

Resident of Burlingame

1916-2010

Fred M. Baldra resided in Burlingame for almost 60 years, married to his sweetheart and wife Mary Lou Redman Baldra for 67 years. He raised daughters, Karen and Becky. He was a remarkably loving and supportive husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, son, brother, uncle, and friend.

He was an Army 2nd Lieutenant, World War II, later employed by Redman Scientific Co., A.S. Aloe, and by Van Waters & Rogers. He avidly volunteered at his church, United Methodist Church, Burlingame, and for C.A.L.L. of San Mateo County.

His family, coworkers, church members, and friends will remember his gentle, kind, generous way of being with others. He had a ready smile and was up to any task, with an inner strength and commitment. He most loved his wife, his family, his home, traveling, and nature. He was a true gentleman, with a strong, hearty spirit.

His survivors include Mary Lou Baldra, Becky Sandman, Colby Sandman, Molly Sandman, Nellie Sandman, Anna Towne, Aiden & Enzo Sandman, and Ayla & Drew Towne.
