Gary John Furtado

Resident of Belmont

Was born on February 01, 1955 and died with grace and dignity on September 02, 2010 with family and friends at his side.

He was a loving husband and father. Gary served as a San Mateo Police Officer from 7/15/1981 until his medical retirement on 01/16/2004 due to cancer. Gary leaves behind his wife, Cathy, and sons, Daniel and Matthew.

A "Celebration of Life" honoring Gary will be held on Monday, September 13, 2010 at 6 PM at Crippen & Flynn Carlmont Chapel located at 1111 Alameda de las Pulgas in Belmont, California.

My Beloved Gary! It's been 12 yrs since we celebrated ur life! I love u as much today as I did then, if not more. Ur spirit is always w/me & I find peace & comfort knowing that u continually surround me w/ur loving light. BFF
