George Gray Obituary

George Blythe Gray Resident of Menlo Park
A celebration of the life of George Blythe Gray of Menlo Park will be held Thursday, January 6th, at 3:00 pm, in the Chapel at the Department of Veterans Affairs, Palo Alto Health Care System, 3801 Miranda Ave, Bldg. 101, Palo Alto. George passed away on December 20th after being treated many years for heart disease. He was 63 years old and had joyously served as a volunteer for nearly 15 years at the Palo Alto VA Hospital Information Desk. He, too, was a veteran who had honorably served in Vietnam and Korea. He will be inurned at Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery, San Diego, CA in a private service. George is survived by his life partner of nineteen years, Donna Marie Lee; two sons, Charles David Gray and Lary Donn Gray, and brother Marlin Heflin of Oklahoma; loving sisters, Sharon Brown of Arizona and Mary Garnica of Arkansas; as well as ?his honorary daughter? Tasha Lee McDonald of Monte Sereno; and three grandchildren. The family requests that any donations in his memory be made to the Disabled Veterans Association, the American Heart Association, or a charity of your choice.
