Harry Cuzner Obituary
Harry Frederick Cuzner, Jr.
Resident of San Jose
Harry was born on November 22, 1922, in Chicago, Illinois, and died peacefully on November 15, 2010. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jane, after 49 years of marriage. Harry is survived by his loving children, daughter Kathleen Irvine and sons Gregor and Mark. He was the proud grandfather of 11 and great-grandfather of 5.
He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during WWII in England as a P-51 fighter pilot with the rank of 1st Lt. It was during this time that he met his future wife, an Army nurse, at the tea dances hosted by his squadron. He later served during the Korean conflict in a technical advisor role.
As an aeronautical engineer, Harry work for 40 years at Lockheed where he managed the structural test department. In retirement he was an active member of SIRS and a volunteer at the Children's Discovery Museum of San Jose.
Throughout his life, Harry was an avid golfer, skier, and bridge player, actively enjoying them all well into his 70's. He and his wife traveled extensively around the world, including memorable trips through the Panama Canal.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service on Thursday, November 18, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at LIMA & CAMPAGNA SUNNYVALE MORTUARY, 1315 Hollenbeck Ave., Sunnyvale. Interment with military honors will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Los Altos.

To the Cuzner family, sorry for your loss, may GOD give you his LOVE, PEACE, and STRENGTH in this time of sorrow. I want to thank him for serving his country to keep it SAFE & FREE for us to live in, he is HERO to many but not only to his family and friends but by me also and i don't know the family. I am glad he came home safe to have a family of his own to make many memmories with family, friends, and co-workers. May he R.I.P :)

Harry was a true gentleman and a wonderful person. I will miss his integrity and caring for his fellow man as he was truly a member of the Greatest Generation.
