Hipolito T. Gutierrez
Resident of Mtn. View
Passed away peacefully at age 99 surrounded by his closest loved ones on November 29, 2010 in Mtn. View where has lived since 1927. He was born in Jalisco Mexico.
Hipolito was preceded in death by his parents Timoteo & Micaela Gutierrez, his loving wife of 58 years Maria V. Gutierrez, his siblings Guadalupe, Vicente, Ruth, Jesus and Dolores as well as grandchildren Danielle and Randy. He is survived by his brother Lito Gutierrez, children Dorina(Joe) Munoz, Rudy (Sue) Gutierrez, Marie Y. Gutierrez, and Mario (Michaela) Gutierrez, grandchildren Cynthia, Lisa, Laura, Joanna, Tony, Michelle, Melissa, Adam, and Estevan as well as 14 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren.
Hipolito (Paul) was a cement mason who worked hard and lived life to the fullest. He loved Baseball, coaching, and played on a semipro team for years. But Music was his real passion! He loved listening to Mariachi's and Mexican music as well as dancing and singing.
Visitations will be held on Mon. Dec.6, 2010 from 5-9 P.M. with a Vigil service at 7P.M.at Cusimano Family Colonial Mortuary, 96 El Camino Real W. Mtn.View. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tues. Dec. 7, 2010 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Joseph Church, 582 Hope St., Mtn. View. Interment will follow Mass at Santa Clara Mission Cemetery, 490 Lincoln Ave., Santa Clara.

Paul -- I am glad I was able to meet you on the last trip to Mt. View. Your son Mario took me by your house and we all had some laughs. Thanks for sharing the "old" stories with me. I wish I had met you earlier in life.

My fondest childhood memories will always include affectionate memories of you. I shall always remember camping at Uves Dam and Santa Cruz , watching my uncles and you play baseball, the Posadas at Christmas, and the Club Estrella Dances. You have always been more like an Uncle to me. On behave of myself, my sisters and all the Lara family, WE will miss you dearly. Thank you for the wonderful memories
