Passed away peacefully at her residence with family by her side. Loving mother to Dennis and Bruce Pereira, and beloved Grandmother to Kevin, Ashley and David Pereira. Funeral/Memorial service to be held at 1:00 PM, Thursday, Dec 30 in San Jose at the Oak Hill Memorial Park in the Chapel of Roses

I remember Ida and Manny when they were neighbors to us on McLaughlin Ave., and they were my in-laws for a short period of time. Ida was a very sweet lady, and Manny was so soft spoken and kind. I send my best wishes to your family, but just rest in knowing you will see her again in all her glory! With love, Sue Fesko

My heartfelt sympathy to Bruce, Sue, Ashley, David and the Colorado Pereira family.
I met Ida in Aug. 2010 and she touched my heart. She seemed like such a lovey women. I saw her laughing and excitingly talking about her wonderful family. I won't forget the afternon that I spent with Ida. She made me feel welcome and special. It sounds like she touched many lives.

Ida and Manny were both really wonderful people who both blessed us by their contributions to our lives. Also, I have missed Ida's delicious Christmas cookies.

Ida was a soft-spoken woman of strength who lent a degree of stability to my youth. I will remember Christmas Eve's at her house and the chicken and rice casseroles. She was a beautiful, kind and patient woman.
