Janet Mitchell

Resident of San Jose

Sept. 22, 1950-Sept.16, 2010

Janet passed away suddenly after a short illness. Born in Bradford, England. Janet came to the US with her family at age 7. She graduated from Peterson High School in 1968. She was a beloved wife, mother, sister, daughter, grandmother, and friend. She will be dearly missed by all. Survived by her husband Douglas, son David (Sally), daughter Annie Miller (Scott), mother Mary Whitehead, sister Jennie Brick (Jim), grandchildren: Tysen, Kasey, Brian, and many nieces and nephews. She loved to travel, visit family, photography, and knitting beautiful baby blankets.

The Mitchell family will be hosting an open house celebration of Janet's life at the Mitchell House on October 2, 2010 from 1-4 pm.
