Jean Ziebron Obituary

Jean Estelle

Campbell Ziebron

Resident of Hollister

Went to her rest in the Lord, December 5, 2010 in Hollister, California aged 88. Adored wife of Stanley Ziebron to whom she was devoted for 67 years. Most beloved mother of Michael (Barbara) and Bill (Karen) Ziebron, grandmother of Elizabeth Ziebron, Melissa Buckley (Joe), Joseph Ziebron and Daniel Ziebron. Born in Portage, Pennsylvania, September 22, 1922. Predeceased by mother, Lucinda Long Campbell, father, James Campbell and sister, Margaret Campbell Freeman. Stan's World War II service in the Coast Guard took them to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, Salem, Massachusetts, and New York Harbor where she supported and loved him during those years and all that were to follow. After many years in Detroit, Michigan, she helped blaze a trail to California and settled in Menlo Park.

Jean taught her family and friends about passion and love for life and good times. She was a wonderful mother and advocate for her children, and attended all of their baseball, basketball, and football games in Menlo Park and at Bellarmine. She was a vocal and positive supporter of her sons and she was always proud of all that they accomplished. Jean persevered in her quest to become a Daughter of the American Revolution and has a chair in Constitution Hall in Washington, DC dedicated to her ancestor who fought in the Revolutionary War. Jean loved to host her family and friends, and was a creative and wonderful cook, craftsperson, and collector of antique prints and furnishings. She could light up a room, and she could also put you in your place at the same time. She was a modern Victorian. In later years, Stan and Jean restored an historical landmark home in Carson City, Nevada, and hosted tours of their home during the annual historical society open house.

Mass of Resurrection on Saturday, December 11, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church, 7290 Airline Highway, Tres Pinos, CA. Reception for family and friends to follow in the parish hall. Contributions may be made to your local historical society or to the Alzheimer's Association.

To the Ziebron family, sorry for your loss, may GOD give you his LOVE, PEACE, and STRENGTH in this time of sorrow. She is with GOD now and moving into her new home in HEAVEN with JESUS. She is seeing what we can't even imagine how it looks. She is meeting all the ANGELS that GOD has up there with him. She has a new body one that will never perish and never feel pain ever, she is wearing her crown and waiting for GOD to give her assignment here on earth where she will help many people, and she will stop in on her family and friends from time to time. She is RESTING IN PEACE with the best person we can rest with and that is OUR LORD AND SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST -|- :)
