Joan Beering Obituary
Resident of San Mateo
Age 76, passed away on January 8, 2011. She is survived by her three children: Chuck Beering of Foster City, Jim Beering of Danville, Mary Erickson of Alamo. She was a proud and loving grandmother of Jonathan, Jessica, Benjamin, Samuel, Christopher and Katie and dear sister of Bernice Wenger. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Walter Beering. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. She was born in Evanston, IL and graduated from Loyola University in Chicago in 1956. She enjoyed her career of over 30 years as a nurse helping others.
A funeral mass to celebrate her life will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, January 15, 2011 at St. Bartholomew's Catholic Church, Alameda de las Pulgas at Crystal Springs, San Mateo. Inurnment at St. John's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in her memory to Samaritan House, 4031 Pacific Blvd. San Mateo, CA 94403. SNEIDER & SULLIVAN &

Dear Chuck, Jim, and Mary,
There is so much I have in my heart I would like to say but words are difficult. As you well know, our lives were so intertwined for so many years which have rendered many wonderful memories. I think about those times with your mom and dad so often. There are very special memories that I carry with me of your family and ours, many good times. It goes unsaid that my thoughts and prayers are with you during this time of loss. Your mom will be truly missed. Please keep in touch.
