Kiyo Takasaki

Resident of Campbell

90 years, peacefully passed away Monday, December 6th after a short illness.

She was born March 28, 1920, in Tokyo, Japan, and married the late Saburo Takasaki. Kiyo worked for 33 years for an international trading company.

After retirement, at the age of 69, she moved to California to live with her daughter, Hiroko Takasakiand has been a Campbell resident for 21 years.

She was active with the JACL Senior Center and made many American friends. She made the most of her California days, golfing and fishingbut most enjoyed her lucrative trips to Reno and Las Vegas.

Kiyo is survived by her daughter, Hiroko; her son, Yasuhide of Tokyo; and one granddaughter, Maki of Tokyo, in addition to seven Tokyo siblings.

Friends and family are invited to a Celebration of Life at Saratoga Country Club, 21990 Prospect Rd., Saratoga, CA 95070, tel: 408-253-0340. Date: Tuesday, December 21, 2010, from 11:00 am.
