Kurtis Linnell Resident of Redwood City Born in Redwood City, CA on November 23, 1991 to Mike and Monica Linnell. He was the oldest of 3 children. He loved every sport, especially soccer which he played throughout his youth. Kurtis also loved to ride motocross at the local OHV parks with his family and friends. Kurtis was a graduate from Carlmont High School, a student at Sonoma State University and a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity. He was an avid sports gamer and his ultimate goal was to work in the gaming industry, which he was given the opportunity and fulfilled his dream of working at Electronic Arts as a QA Analyst until his last days. Kurtis eventually succumbed to his long fought battle of Ewing's Sarcoma. He passed away in Mountain View and is survived by his parents, two siblings and many loving extended family members. Memorial Service will be at Redeemer Lutheran Church (468 Grand Avenue, Redwood City) on February 16, 2013 at 1pm. Following the service there will be a reception at Luther Hall. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Kurtis W. Linnell Memorial Foundation at Wells Fargo.
