Lores Jane Borke

Resident of Cupertino

May 5, 1932 - Nov. 10, 2010

Born at Swedish Conbent Hospital Chicago, Illinois. Daughter of Gwendoline Brice and Dewey Keck. Lores graduated from Moline High School in Moline, Illinois in 1950, then graduated from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois in 1954.

Lores married in 1955 to Gilbert A. Borke and moved to Calif., in 1972 (Cupertino). Lores and Gilbert had a son in 1962, Gregory Dana Borke that married Kenya Roark and have a son Brett and daughter Brittany Borke.

Lores began teaching in 1972 at Berryessa School in San Jose and continued teaching until 2002 when she had a stroke and other medical conditions forced her to retire. Lores husband Gilbert died in November 1998.

Funeral Service will be held on Nov. 17, 2010 at 4:00 p.m. at St. Jude the Apostle Episcopal Church, 20920 McClellan Rd., corner of Stelling and McClellan in Cupertino.
