(baptismal name Louise) entered eternal life on September 26, 2010 at the Presentation Motherhouse in San Francisco. A native of San Francisco, California, Sister Grace was born in 1915, and was a Sister of the Presentation for seventy-seven years. Sister leaves her loving Presentation Sisters. Sister Grace was the daughter of Louise Huegle Feldhaus and Joseph Bernard Feldhaus. She was predeceased by her brothers and sisters, Joseph, Bernard, Rita, and Sister Cecile Feldhaus, PBVM

Sister Grace earned a B.A. in education from Immaculate Heart College, Los Angeles, a B.S. in Library Science from Rosary College, River Forest, Illinois, and an M.A. in Library Science from Immaculate Heart College. She began her ministry in Catholic education in 1935, when she began teaching elementary school at Cathedral Presentation, San Francisco. She went on to teach all academic grades three to twelve in Catholic schools in San Francisco, Los Angeles, and the Santa Clara Valley. In 1955, Sister Grace was the founding principal of Saint Christopher School in San Jose, where she served for twelve years.

From 1968 to 1980, Sister Grace ministered as a teacher and a librarian at Presentation High School, Berkeley (1968 to 1972), Salesian High School, Richmond (1978 to 1980). After 1980, Sister Grace worked as a secretary and librarian for corporations and Catholic institutions.

In 1999, Sister Grace moved to the Motherhouse and most recently has been engaged in the ministry of prayer for the Learning and Loving Educational Center, a sponsored ministry of the Sisters of the Presentation in Morgan Hill.

Visitation will take place from 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 29 at the Presentation Motherhouse at 2340 Turk Blvd, San Francisco. A vigil service will be held that evening at 7:00 p.m., also at the Presentation Motherhouse. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, followed by lunch at the Presentation Motherhouse. Private interment which will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery at a later date.
