I am sorry this is so late in coming. I only just learned of her passing today. I have so many fond memories of times and Gordon and Millie's home. I remember an Easter egg hunt in their backyard, visiting at Christmas and getting to see the beautiful gingerbread houses, looking through some gorgeous sepia photos with a very neat device she had out. They were either, my or my brother's god parents, but the treated us more like grandchildren. She even remembered us enough to send best wishes when we were married and had children of our own. She will be remembered fondly always. A truly incredible couple, inside and out... Katherine Knott (Holland)

To Jen and Ann, and all of Millies family;
Millie was so special to us at the Gift Shop Group (Mid-County Sr Center). She was always cheerful, kind, helpful and willing to do whatever little project we had for her. God Bless and comfort you all. She was loved by all and will be missed greatly.

Beggs Family,
We are saddened by the loss of your Mom. Be assured that we hold her in our thoughts and hearts. She was a lovely woman who caressed you and let you blissfully unfold like the fuchias in her garden. She knew how the pale ones withdrew, how cold ones closed upon themselves and how others opened in full bloom. And, so she nurtured you to live devoted to the spirit--that magical movement of the heart and soul. I can imagine her beaming as you, much like her flowers, opened in full bloom. She was happy!
Mildred now lives with Gordon in eternal silence endlessly tending to a new garden of fuchsias where she will soon create a new concentration of beautiful colors while knowing you live in harmony. She was knowing, kind and a truly good human-being in love with you, friends and life.
May time bring a measure of solace to your hearts. Our sincere condolences.
