Nariko Tokutome Willoughby

Resident of San Jose

Peacefully entered into rest on September 10, 2010 at the age of 74. She was born September 15th, 1935 in Osaka, Japan. Beloved wife to Frederick D. Willoughby, loving mother to Kenneth M. Willoughby (Kristen- of Tracy, CA) and Elaine M. Willoughby (San Francisco, CA) and Grandmother to Aidan John Patrick Willoughby. She is survived by sister Michiko Washio (Chiba, Japan) and brother Taketi Tokutome (Tokyo, Japan). Her hobbies included knitting, sewing, traveling (particularly to hot springs) and playing with her grandson. She was an avid gardener and had a particular green thumb with roses. Her great sense of humor, dignified elegance, and kindness will be greatly missed by those that were blessed enough to know her.

I was very sorry to hear about Nariko. She was a very nice person. The times we spent shopping in Germany were fun. I am sorry that I lost contact with her. I know the family lost a very special person.
