Mother, daughter and friend passed away on August 22, 2010, in Las Vegas, NV. Born in Alexandria, LA, former resident of SJ and IBM retiree. Enjoyed gardening, cooking, music and soap operas.
Family and friends are invited to attend a celebration of her life Sat. Oct. 9, 1pm, The Vineyard Center at the Villages.

I met Nellie over 50 years ago when as a stranger to the state she truly welcomed me, a few months later she attended my small wedding, for my bouquet (to my surprise) she presented her own personal little white bible, as a teenage bride that meant so much to me and added to her thoughtfulness. She eventually became Godmother to my daughter! Bless you Nellie you'll always have a place in my heart.

Nellie was aways a good friend and neighbor for almost 20 years. She will leave a void in the lives of those who knew and loved her.
