Patrick Amann Obituary
Resident of Salinas
73, of Salinas, passed away at home, on Sunday, September 26, 2010. He was born in Waukegan, IL on January 20, 1937. Patrick was a long time resident of Campbell, CA.
Patrick is preceded in death by his wife, Amelia Amann and brothers, Edward and George Jr. He is survived by his son, Tim Amann, daughters, Kathy, Karen and Holly, grandchildren, Amy, Tommy II, Nicholas, Kevin and Taylor, and great-grandson, Tommy III (Bugaboo) and siblings, Patsey and Bud.
Memorial Services will be held Sunday, October 10, 2010 at 12:00 pm at Savannah Chanelle Vineyard, 23600 Congress Springs Road, Saratoga, CA 95070
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the National Cancer Society in honor of Patrick Amann, 1534 N. Main Street, Salinas, CA 93906. Arrangements by Alta Vista Mortuary, 41 East Alisal Street; (831) 424-9700

Gramps,
I miss you so much! The day you left us will forever be imbedded in my mind...I am so thankful i got to be with you the night before and to let you know how much i loved you! I will always miss you but i know you are in Heaven with Grandma and are no longer in pain! I will always miss you coming out in the living room at auntie Karens saying "Hey Porkchops come scratch my back" I know it will be hard but i promise you i will be strong in knowing that when it is my time to meet Our Lord you and Grandma will be there to welcome me home!!!!

As the darkness of the night approaches, there is sadness in the air. The life of the loved one you love will no longer be here. He may have lost the battle, but his soul is there with thee, It's hard to lose a loved one. Trust in God the Father and he'll lead you by the hand and lead you through the heartache and dry each tear you cry, for God knows the pain of death when he saw his own son die. Just as he loved his son, he loves us just the same. Sometimes it takes heartache to magnifiy his holy name.
God rest your soul. You will be missed. My prayers to the family.
