Patsy Kinney Obituary

Patsy June "Pat" Kinney

Former resident of San Jose, CA

Patsy June "Pat" Kinney 81 passed away suddenly on October 23, 2010 in Gulfport, Mississippi.

Patsy was born in Detroit, Michigan on January 7, 1929, the daughter of Harley and Henrietta Rowe (deceased) of Evansville, Indiana, sister to Shirley Elliott (deceased) Ann Cole and Pete Rowe (deceased).

Pat and her husband William V. "Bill" Kinney, Sr. (deceased) resided in the South Bay and owned and operated Stevens Creek Realty, Inc. and had membership in many Real Estate related associations in Santa Clara, Santa Cruz and Sacramento counties. Pat was Chairman of the Board for ERA Stevens Creek Realty, Inc. and SCR Investments. Pat was Broker of Record for nine Real Estate offices throughout California that employed over 300 Real Estate agents. The Kinney's also launched Kings College of Real Estate and Pat taught Real Estate Ethics at West Valley College. She received numerous diplomas and certificates for her work in the Real Estate industry. Pat also was a dedicated contributor to the Disabled Veterans Charitable organization.

The Kinney's worldwide travels took them to The Far East, Europe, The Middle East and numerous other exotic locations. Her only regret was that she never experienced a Safari in Africa.

Having retired from their Real Estate careers the Kinney's moved to their beloved Big Island of Hawaii where they resided for 17 years until her husband passed away. Pat moved back to the South Bay where she came to be called "Gi Gi" by her Great Grandchildren.

Patsy loved the Gulf Coast and moved to Diamondhead, Mississippi in 2007 to be close to her son and daughter-in-law.

Patsy is survived by her loving son Terral "Terry" Kliever and daughter-in-law Sharon Caldwell of Mississippi; five step-children Margaret, Barbara (deceased) Bill, Charlene, Donna and Larry; Grandchildren Katrina Padilla and Erik Kliever both of San Jose, Ca; and four Great Grandchildren Johnathan, Jared, Krysta Padilla and Bobbie Lee Kliever; many nieces and nephews.

She will be forever missed by those whose lives she has touched.

Mrs. Kinney was cremated in Mississippi.
