We remember Rachel as a gracious lady who was so welcoming. She and Jim were our fellowship friends when we joined Willow Glen UMC some 35 years ago.

I was very sad to hear about Rachel's passing. As next door neighbors to her and Jim from 1993 until she moved in 2008. Rachel would ofter babysit our daughters. She would talk about her son, daughter in law and granddaughters Sarah and Anne. We tried to look out for her as she lived alone, but it was she who did more looking out for us.
A blessing is Rachel is with Jesus now. As God wrapped his arms around her to take her to the most holy place. As in Psalm 23:4 Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death...

Rachel reminded me of someone who was pure, full of goodness. She will be missed, but remembered.

We were so sorry to hear about Rachel's passing. She and Jim were wonderful next door neighbors in 1958-1963. Even after moving from the area we were never too far away in miles, and in touch often. We will miss her smile and I will miss the phone calls to Maryland just to say hello. Our condolences to Jeff, Page, Anne, and Sarah in the loss of their Mother, and grandmother. She loved her family, dearly.
