Hi Bob, Thought about you yesterday on your birthday. Sure do miss your friendly voice and your sweet smile. As our birthdays are only a day apart we used to wish each other birthday greetings and assure each other that we were are year younger not a year older and it was ok if we lied about our age ! I miss you and love you lots and pray to one day meet up with you so save me a spot up there ok ? Love you Bob.

Hi Dad -
Kathy and I visited your grave yesterday. We know you're in Heaven so that comforts us. We can't believe it has been a year already. You are greatly missed but have had a lasting impact. We love you very much. Pam

I just got thru the worst year of my life....I miss you so very much...I start thinking about some of the things we did and some of the places we went to and I can feel Ok because I have so many great memories but then I think about some things and all I come up with that it's not fair....So many of our friends still talk about how much they miss your help and your knowledge. I still have our little HOT ROD..When I look at it I can see your big smile everytime you started it up and that LOUD motor started. So many happy times. I guess we were pretty lucky to have each other for thirty wonderful years...I love you so much and will till I die...Rest in Peace sweetheart.

It's hard to believe that a year has almost passed, Papa. It seems as if the news is fresh, that it only happened yesterday. You would be proud of Shirley and how she is choosing good things in her life, how she is taking care of all you built together with her.
You know that Aunt Leslie is living with us now, and you know how glad I am to care for her, because of you,and because I can do something to bless you and Grandma and Grandpa and the Lord. I hope I can help her receive Jesus, so she can see all those she loves again. She is a dear, kind soul, just like you are.
I think of you often and always with pride. Thank you for being such a good example to me in caring for others. I love you so much and look forward to the reunion. All my love, Joy

Hi, Bob, My thoughts were of you on Friday , the day of your 75th birthday. I kept thinking that if you were still with us I would be calling you to wish you a Happy Birthday and you would have answered in your sweet sounding voice " Well, same to you tomorrow, Deb". I sure miss you as well as everybody else who knew you and loved you so very much. You lit up the lives of so many. God Bless You and rest in peace Dear Brother-in-law!!

Hi Dad,
The calendar says that it's Christmas. Not to take anything away from the birth of Jesus, but it just doesn't feel right to celebrate without you here. I didn't put up my decorations, no lights on the house. I didn't even wear any of my Christmas sweaters. It was just another day that you weren't here to share with us. It hurts as much today as it has since Sept. 17th. I think I've cried everyday since then for one reason or another. Whether it was triggered by an "Uno" commercial, not seeing the top of your head in the shower window, or feeling alone because you weren't there to "rescue" me when I locked my keys in my car - again. You were such a big part in so many lives. I'm sad for the loss that everyone is feeling, especially Mom. We are trying our best to carry on for you, but it's so hard. We love and miss you so much! I know the pain we are feeling is just a sign of how much you meant to us. I'm so lucky to have had you in our lives.
Love, your daughter Kim

Hi Honey...Well it's Christmas Eve day. I can't begin to tell you how much my heart hurts. I miss you so much. I can hear you saying how great the house looks and how its smells so good with the turkey cooking and the cookies baking. It will never be the same. We have recieved so many wonderful Christmas cards from all our great friends all remembering you. I have had so much support from them. They always talk about you. It is so hard to go on without you, but I know you want me to. I try to be strong in front of the kids. It's When
I'm alone that its so hard.I love and miss you so very much........

Hi, Papa,
It's Christmas, and my list is light, because you are not on it this year. It's times like this that I remember that the universe shifted and it feels like we might be falling off. Your presence in our lives was a rock for us all; I just have to remember that your influence in my life remains always. Part of who I am is because of who you are. Thank you for being a good Papa. Things are hard without you here, but that's because they were so great with you. I'll love you always, and see you someday. Love, Joy

Hi Bob, Joyce and I went to see you yesterday and took you a poinsettia for you. We talked about how we missed your incredibly sweet voice when you answered the telephone and greeted us. We miss you so much. God must have put you in charge of fixing all the Angel wings when they need adjusting! He got a great mechanic! Rest in Peace Bob and Merry Christmas. Love and miss you lots. Hey Uncle Bob! I've been thinking about you a lot lately. What a sweetheart you always were to me, and how much everyone loves you... and how could they not? You are literally one of the kindest and generous men I have ever had the pleasure to know. I was proud to call you my uncle. You took such good care of my aunt Shirley and her family and I can't even imagine what the Holiday season is like for them without you here. All of your family and friends for that matter.. its hard. I know you are up there keeping an eye on us all though. I always laugh at the day I went over and you helped me with my car (of course)! I was looking at your beautiful model A and asked you if you would ever let me drive it. hahahaha the look on your face was priceless. You told me that maybe after I become an expert with my Neon you would THINK about it. Well I am not yet an expert.. but I am holding you to that Bob! I miss you and I hope you are feeling wonderful, safe, and that you are having a great beginning of your next life. Of all people, you deserve at least that. I love you and thanks for being the amazing man that you are.

How fortunate we all are to be able to call you Dad. Never too busy to lend a hand or wrap us in your warm embrace or tell us how proud you were of us. You worked hard to take care of your family. Rest in peace knowing that your children are proud to continue your legacy.
All our love,
Joy, Kathy, Nancy, Pam, Bob, Kim and Scott
