Robert J. Shireman

Resident of Wallace, CA

Aug. 27, 1958-Nov. 25, 2010

Bob passed away on November 25, 2010 after a lengthy battle with cancer. Bob was born in San Francisco to John and Mary Shireman, living most of his life in San Mateo. Bob and Stacy married in 1994. They moved their family to Lockeford and then Wallace where he and Stacy provided a home to 47 foster children over the years. Bob was self-employed as a painting contractor.

He is survived by his wife Stacy, son Cole and several foster children as well as his mother, Mary Shireman, two brothers and sisters in law; Mike (Terri), and Ken (Debbie), five sisters and brothers in law Janet Chelone (Tony), Joanne Gilbride (Brian), Sandy Ghillarducci (Steve), Debbie Klava (Dave) and Kjerstin Deane (Tom) and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial gathering will be held on Dec. 11th at 2:30 at 9486 Shadowrock Wy, Elk Grove, Ca. Please visit web site: www.shireman.info for details and to sign the guest book. In lieu of flowers, please mail donations to Stacy Shireman PO Box 74, Wallace, Ca. 95254

Stacy and Cole, at last Bob is at peace he is in good hands no more pain and suffering. I remember the fun we had when you guys were helping me with my house, and the words I learned. We will all miss him. Now is the time to remember the good times and how much we loved Bob. God bless you and Cole .
