To the Armes family, sorry for your loss, may GOD give you his LOVE, PEACE, and STRENGTH in this time of sorrow. I want to thank him for serving his country to keep us SAFE and FREE, he is and will be a HERO to all. He is with GOD now in HEAVEN and he is seeing what we can't even imagine how it looks like and GOD as well. He is getting all that GOD has promised his children who BELIEVE IN HIM. I am sure when GOD gives him his dutys on earth he will check in on all of you and you will feel his presence. He is RESTING IN PEACE with JESUS CHRIST and he is the best person for us to rest with, he will never feel pain again and he will live forever and you will see him again someday but not until GOD sais it is time. <3

I was so impressed by his care for his wife, Patricia and the thoughtfulness he showed through the kind note of appreciation I received. I can see you had a good dad, Greg.

We will always remember the wonderful time we had when Daddy was feeling so well only three weeks ago. The kids had such a great time learning how to play cribbage. It was hard to see Dad's heart quickly give out but I'm so glad we could spend this last week loving on "grandpa". My Dad was a loyal husband, a great architect (yes, I'm biased), a killer hearts player, an avid reader, a yarn spinner (i.e. storyteller), a die hard Republican, and a great chef. I will always cherish our early mornings playing tennis and our times "creating" in the kitchen and riding around in Daddy's brand new '65 mustang! Ron Armes was indeed a very special father and grandfather. May you find rest in the loving mercies of God Almighty.

My grandfather was an amazing man of many qualities. His honesty, work ethic, humor, and humility made him stand apart in a world of ever changing values. In other words, they just don't make 'em like that anymore.
I love you, Grandpa, and I miss you.

I only met Ronald Armes once, but through knowing Greg, realize he was a very good father, very loved and loving. My dad was also a photographer in WW2, with the Army-Air Force. They would have loved trading stories.
