Scott Christian Andersen Obituary
Scott Christian Andersen
February 10, 1964 - February 20, 2014
Resident of Tucson, AZ
Scott, 50, passed away unexpectedly at home on February 20, 2014. Scott was a current resident of Tucson, Arizona and formerly resided in Saratoga, California where he grew up and attended schools. He graduated from Saratoga High School and attended De Anza Community College and then a computer programming school. He had just finished a course in hospital administration at Pima Community College. Scott had many interests, he had a talent for working with technology, people in health related fields, and as an artist. He loved his work in computer software and worked in tech support as well as an EMT in both California and Arizona. Friends and family will remember Scott for his sense of humor that developed throughout his life in the face of many challenges. He loved telling jokes. Scott relished connecting with friends on Facebook and the support he had through these ongoing friendships kept him energized during recent difficulties with his health. He was an active member of the Craycroft Baptist Church in Tucson. Friends describe Scott as being gentle, thoughtful and at times mischievous. Family will remember his talent for drawing and etching. He was proud of his nieces and nephews accomplishments and liked to be called Uncle Balou. Scott is survived by father Barrett Andersen and step-mother Jean Andersen, his sisters and brothers in law, Julie and Jon Ewald in Cape Elizabeth, Maine and Kristen and Rick Remondini in Kings Beach, California as well as nieces and nephews Kate and Trevor Ewald and Isabella and Anders Remondini. His mother, Wanda Andersen and wife, Tammy Andersen preceded him in death. A memorial service was held for Scott in Tucson on February 28, 2014. There will be a private interment.
