Spencer Anderson Obituary

Resident of Los Gatos
Spencer Kenneth "Swede" Anderson passed away peacefully on October 14, 2013 after a short illness. Swede is survived by his wife of 57 years, Eleanor "Elli" and three beautiful daughters - Kim (Mike) Short, Kelly Anderson, and Kristi (Steve) Lambert - and five grandchildren: Mary Kate Short, Thomas Short, Kevin Short, Owen Lambert, and Jack Lambert. He is also survived by his brother, Tom, and several nieces and nephews.
Spencer attended Sequoia High School and graduated from San Jose State University with degrees in Engineering and Business. He was employed by Lockheed, ITT and Philco-Ford. He and Elli were able to pursue their love of travel in retirement.
A memorial service will be held on November 30 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 15885 Los Gatos-Almaden Road, Los Gatos. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Special Olympics of Santa Clara County or the charity of your choice.
