Native of San Jose
Thelma Sheridan 95, a lifelong native of San Jose. As a young girl Thelma worked at the old Hart's dept. store downtown. She remembered when one means of transportation on Santa Clara St. was the horse and cart. Later she spent a long career as secretary for the Cupertino School Dist.. An active energetic woman all her life, she played golf and went to exercise class well into her eighties. She will always be remembered by her family as a person of great faith and charity. All of us received cards on each of the holidays and to the small children, she sent money up until the time of her death. She was a regular parishioner at St. Martin of Tours, always sitting in the same seat at the Sat. 5 o'clock mass. She was predeceased by her husband Phil in 1977 and her son Barry in 1995. Her son John is also deceased. This warm, wonderful woman will be dearly missed by her surviving family. Rosary will be held on Sunday, April 28, 2013 at 7:30PM at Lima Family Santa Clara, 466 N.
